Tris successfully built and sold two of the country’s top background screening and due diligence firms before founding JRG. Founder and Principal
With over 40 years of investigative experience across both public and private sectors, JRG founder, Tris Fenwick, is one of Japan’s leading security and due diligence professionals. Tris started his career as a Detective Senior Inspector in the Royal Hong Kong Police before moving to Kuala Lumpur to run the Malaysian operations of a US security and investigation company. In 1999 Tris moved to Japan where he successfully built and sold two of the country’s top background screening and due diligence firms before founding JRG in 2025.
